Pret A Manger, McDonald’s, KFC and Itsu will deliver some of the keynote sessions at technology-focussed conference Hostech, which returns on April 27.
Pret chief information & transformation officer Sarah Venning will share details of the pilot launch of the brand’s highly anticipated loyalty scheme, Pret Perks, which is the latest step in its omnichannel transformation plan.
Itsu’s chief customer officer Neil Miller, will consider how key digital milestones have impacted F&B, including the explosive growth of smartphones, as well as the challenges Itsu will need to overcome to succeed in its digital transformation journey.
KFC UK & Ireland chief technology officer Jatin Chandwani will share progress on the brand’s three year digital strategy, which focusses on digital experiences, data analytics, restaurant automation and proactive service.
Also joining the schedule, are disruptive brands such as Taster, the virtual restaurant operator from former Deliveroo executive Anton Soulier.
Victor Lugger, co-founder of Big Mamma Group, will tell the story behind Sunday, his innovative restaurant payment app which has secured $100m worth of investment.
And McDonald’s delivery director Dan Smith will join Deliveroo to discuss the latest innovations in delivery, and how it is shaping quick service restaurant operations.
All this and more will be presented at Hostech, which returns to the Ham Yard Hotel on April 27.
