You have until this Friday (17 December) to submit your nominations for MCA’s Hero of the Year Award – with the winner to be announced at the Retailers’ Retailer Awards 2022.
The Hero Award will be given to an outstanding individual in a multi-site senior management team who has met every challenge that has come their way to navigate the business through what has been another challenging year.
Last year saw Stonegate’s Suzanne Baker awarded the Hero title, after she took up the additional mantle of property director and steered the company through its merger with Ei Group in the face of the pandemic.
As a leader in hospitality we need your help to shine a light on the most deserving individuals, deals, concepts and companies in the sector.
To nominate your hero, please send a 250 word citation to finn.scott-delany@mca-insight.com
MCA will then interview the nominator and publish five hero awards finalist articles.
The winner will be chosen by a special panel, with the articles used to decide the ultimate winner, who will be announced on the night.
MCA’s prestigious Retailers’ Retailer Awards will take place at London’s The Guildhall on Wednesday 23 March 2022.
There are 11 awards to choose from, including: Best New Opening, Best Concept, Investor of the Year, Best Use of Technology and the Evolution Award. There are also two new categories for this year: The Sustainability Award and International Newcomer of the Year.
