Sector snapshot: What next for SAB InBev?

The prospect of the world’s first megabrewer inched closer to reality yesterday with the board of SABMiller provisionally accepting a £68bn takeover bid from AB InBev. The combined might of the Budweiser and Peroni producers would see them supply one in every three beers drunk across the world. But how will it change the brewing landscape in the UK and are we likely to see more M&A activity across this sector?
