Paul re-opens seven London sites

Paul has re-opened seven has re-opened seven sites and will open a further three next week. The outlets will open between 8am and 2pm for takeaway only and it has also teamed up with Deliveroo and Uber Eats for the first time.

Social distancing measures will be in place for customers, and NHS workers, care workers, the elderly and disabled customers will be prioritised. All seating has been removed, payment will be card only and no re-useable cups will be used.

The Grocery Market at its Acton site remains open between 8am and 2pm selling milk, fruit and vegetables as well as bread and pastries. The delivery radius has been expanded to include select SW postcodes as well as West London.

“We took the careful decision to responsibly open some of our stores to extend our delivery miles and give access to those who can’t get to the supermarkets easily,” said Paul CEO Mark Hilton.

“We’ve put new processes in place and stepped up our already stringent hygiene measures. Our team members have returned on an opt-in volunteer basis – nobody feeling uncomfortable needs to come back – and the free coffees for NHS workers is a small token of our huge appreciation.”

The re-opened stores are in Canary Wharf, Hampstead, Holland Park, South Kensington, Hammersmith, Marble Arch and Wimbledon with Chelsea, Earl Court and Islington schedule to open next week.
