Wingstop UK has been recognised as the fastest growing restaurant group in the UK by The Sunday Times 100, for the second year in a row.

The brand has been ranked 38th on the list with 122% revenue growth over the past 12 months, and plans to create 1,000 jobs over the next year.

Next week, Wingstop UK will open its largest site yet at Westfield Stratford City, spanning an impressive 5,000sq ft site and hosting 160 covers. This follows openings in Wood Green, Croydon, Merry Hill, Clapham, Watford, and Leeds in the last three months alone.

Since launching in the UK market in 2018, the brand now operates 48 sites nationwide and employs over 1,600 people.

Also on the list is Hawkstone brewery, which is owned by Jeremy Clarkson, where revenue has grown 142.88% in the past year to reach £7.4m.

Wafflemeister, the Belgian waffle operator that has 25 branded outlets across the UK, saw its turnover in the past 12 months rise 127.44% to reach £10.5m.

Emerald Hospitality Group, founded by entrepreneurs Arian and Alberto Zandi, and which owns four restaurants in London, posted revenue growth of 73.80% to hit £8.4m and was 79th.
