A Muslim version of the fast food restaurant Burger King has opened in a suburb of Paris. The title, Beurger King Muslim, plays on the French word "Beur" meaning a second-generation North African. The restaurant, in Clichy-sous-Bois, sells halal meat and the female staff wear headscarves. France has Europe's largest Muslim population. The Times 6/8/05 page 44
