Chelsea football club wants to ditch the 'Chelsea Village' concept and concentrate on football, according to The Sunday Times.
Chief executive Peter Kenyon, it says, has already launched a review of the two hotels, restaurants, fitness club and nightclub at Stamford Bridge.
Management of the Fishnet restaurant could be handed to Harry Ramsden's, while Hilton and Marriott are being considered to run the hotels.
Kenyon is also working to boost the club's overseas fan base. That could mean Chelsea targeting China and North America.
The Sunday Telegraph, though, has a different slant on the story, suggesting that Chelsea wants to become financially independent of owner Roman Abramovich.
Kenyon's comments coincided with reports from Russia that tax authorities are investigating Sibneft, the energy giant controlled by Abramovich.
