Government issues guidance on noise complaints legislation

The Government has strengthened planning guidance issued to local councils to encourage developers building homes near pubs to install soundproofing — a victory for the Make Some Noise campaign, run by M&C Report’s sister title the Publican’s Morning Advertiser.
