Managing director at AlixPartners, Graeme Smith will explore how the current economic backdrop is impacting the financial landscape for M&A activity at this years Pub Conference

The conference takes place on 26 June at The Ham Yard Hotel, London and will feature a full day of presentations and panels, including Q&As with leaders in the pub and bar sector.

Smith will answer questions such as, it a buyer’s or seller’s market? Are pub assets as prized as they once were? He will also explore the outlook for consumer and economic trends influencing pub and bar deals in the short and medium term.

At the financial advisory firm, the managing director uses his experience and network to help companies and investors achieve their goals through M&A transactions, restructurings, and access to both equity and debt financing.

He has two decades of UK and cross-border experience in advising clients on buy- and sell-side M&A, raising or refinancing equity and debt, valuation matters, special-situations M&A, and financial restructurings.

His experience has been achieved across a broad range of industries but with a particular focus on consumer-based sectors, including hospitality, leisure and retail.
