Domino’s Pizza Group has appointed Mitesh Patel as an independent non-executive director.
Patel was previously a non-executive director of Pizza Hut UK Limited from 2018 to 2020. He is also the co-founder of Lenstore, an online contact lens business which in 2013 he sold to GrandVision, the world’s largest optical retail group at the time and owner of Vision Express.
Following the sale, Mitesh remained with GrandVision in various roles, including as Global eCommerce Director, until 2023, gaining substantial experience of working at a senior level in a franchise-based business.
He has also been a Trustee of Oxfam since 2022,.

With effect from 1 June 2024. Mitesh will be a member of the Board’s Nomination & Governance Committee.
