The cocktail bar chain from Stonegate is set to reopen its Nottingham site next month after an extensive refurbishment. It will relaunch following a £350,000 investment, which includes a new ‘chef’s table’ style bar, a selfie booth, an infinity mirror bathroom, and a dedicated cocktail masterclass space.

As one of the busiest venues in the Be At One bar group, the spacious Nottingham site spans 65sqm square footage. Following the refurb, the venue will accommodate up to 250 guests. 

Inception Group, Kingly Street

Cahoots Ticket Hall Boozer

The collection of experiential venues across London has launched Cahoots Ticket Hall Boozer on Kingly Street, above the pre-existing Underground and Signal Station.

The ode to a classic 1940s London pub is opening following Inception Group’s pub model with the Mr Fogg’s family, including Mr Fogg’s Tavern on St Martin’s Lane, Mr Fogg’s Hat Tavern in Soho and Mr Fogg’s City Tavern near Liverpool Street.

Cahoots Ticket Hall Boozer serves up a curated collection of black-market hooch, draught beers and pale ales, cocktails, wines and spirits, alongside a food menu of pub classics and small plates, available from lunch time every day. 

Cocotte, Richmond

The rotisserie chicken concept, founded in Notting Hill in 2016, is launching a new space in Richmond this July. A relaxed casual dining restaurant will offer the brand’s renowned chicken dishes, burgers and sides as well as bottomless brunch, in a 62-seater eatery with a sun-catching terrace.

The menu features Chicken Soup, their popular Chicken & Truffle Croquettes, traditional French Remoulade. Additionally, Cocotte Richmond will be the first time that beef is introduced on the menu, with a selection of aged beef in the form of different cuts of steaks.

Chopstix, Haven Holiday Parks

Pan-Asian-inspired QSR brand Chopstix has strengthened its relationship with franchise partner Haven, the holiday park operator, with the rollout of two new modular sites/

The two units at Devon Cliffs, Exmouth, and Hafan y Môr, Gwynedd, follow the launch of the Thornwick Bay site earlier this year, where it opened a sit-in restaurant – a first with Haven. Devon Cliffs, and Hafan y Môr bring the total number of Chopstix sites with Haven up to six, with modular Chopstix units at Presthaven, Haggerston Castle, and Craig Tara.

Alley Cats Pizza, Chelsea

Alley Cats Pizza

New York-style pizzeria, Alley Cats, will open its second location on King’s Road in Chelsea at the beginning of August. This new site will be part of the Sloane Stanely estate on the King’s Road.

The Noble Hospitality group is building on the concepts original Marylebone site which opened in December 2023, offering the same 14-inch pizzas and vibrant atmosphere, with Head Chef Francesco Macri at the helm.

The new Chelsea location maintains a mix of central tables with gingham tablecloths and upcycled church pew-style seating, with episodes of The Sopranos silently projected onto the exposed brick wall on an endless loop. Guests can find handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, or refreshing beers alongside their meal.

 

Burger & Sauce, Liverpool

Fast food chain Burger & Sauce will open a new store in Liverpool on July 12. 

The new site can be found at Unit 4, Liverpool Central Station, Ranelagh Street, and marks the brand’s 15th store overall, with ambitions to reach 20 stores by the end of this year and 50 nationwide by the end of 2025.

Burger & Sauce was established in 2020 and officially launched as a franchise in 2022.

JM Socials, Cheltenham

Oxford-based restaurant group JM Socials will open its 11th venue next month in Cheltenham. Circo will be located on Bath Road with a menu focusing on British plates and European classics and will be open from breakfast through dinner. 

The restaurant group was founded by Jay Rahman and Michael Raphel in 2012 when the two restaurateurs decided to bring their love of hospitality, food and the restaurant industry together to open fine-dining, south Asian restaurant Prithvi in Cheltenham.

Alba, Knightsbridge

Alba, a new Italian dining concept on Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, invites guests to a multi-sensory journey inspired by the Amalfi Coast. Set to open in September, the 120-cover ristorante combines authentic Italian hospitality with a contemporary culinary concept.

Nestled a stone’s throw away from Harrods, Alba offers a menu of fresh, Amalfi-infused dishes, with interiors reflecting coastal Italy. Among the mains will be dishes including Risotto con gamberi & lemon, and Sicilian Gamberi Rossi di Mazara. 

The Swan Inn, Fittleworth

The local pub, originally established in 1536 from a building dating back to the 14th Century, has undergone a remarkable transformation under the Angus Davies, previously of Chez Bruce, Lorne, Sorrel, and Bib Gourmand-awarded The Hollist Arms.

The Swan Inn will have a 45-cover dining room, a 30-cover bar area, a 30-cover alfresco courtyard, a 25-cover barn that will be used for private events and 12 letting bedrooms.

The menu will showcase seasonal and unfussy classics, executed with ‘a focus on flavour and substance’ and includes lighter bites of local girolles on toast, Whitstable oysters, stuffed sardines and tongue and remoulade sandwich with fries. Larger dishes include Sutton Hoo chicken, calves’ liver with polenta, and monkfish with ratatouille.
