Slug & Lettuce’s newly launched summer menus broadens its appeal, with flexible dining options focused on value and all-day offerings.
Revitalised summer menus can be ordered alongside 2-4-1 all day, everyday cocktails. Guests can now find Afternoon Tea, extended Bottomless Brunch and a Dinner & Date offer at their nearest venue.
One of the most notable aspects of the new summer menu is its emphasis on all-day dining flexibility.
Slug & Lettuce has extended its Bottomless Brunch with a daytime menu to run until 4pm and new evening menu from 5pm into the evening hours, capitalising on the growing demand for versatile dining, and extending its appeal during a range of day parts.
All sites will also offer an extended-hours bottomless drinks menu, which will be available from 5pm until 9pm Sunday through to Friday, with Aperol Spritz and Strawberry Bellini’s now on the menu.
The differentiation between the daytime and evening Bottomless Brunch menus ensures variety, with options such as Caesar Salad Bowls and Mexican Chicken Tacos in the evening.
Value is an important element in the new menu offerings. The Dinner & Date menu is a prime example, offering two starters, two mains, and a bottle of wine for £23 per person.
Indulgence is also a key theme running through the new core daily menu. The inclusion of indulgent items such as Salted Caramel Brownie Bites, Warm Mini Churros, and Halloumi Fries speaks to this trend, which has become particularly significant in a post-pandemic world where diners seek treat-based occasions.
The introduction of Afternoon Tea, with both non-alcoholic and “Tipsy” variations, further exemplifies indulgence paired with a social experience, and available Sunday through Friday, Slug & Lettuce positions itself as a venue for both celebratory and casual occasions.
On the other hand, the introduction of Light Bites and a revamped Lunch & Brunch menu shows an understanding of the growing health-conscious dining trend, and caters to a wider range of dietary preferences.
Slug & Lettuce also remains true to its roots by retaining popular menu items. Mix & Match specialities such as Halloumi Fries and Crispy Coated Prawns and Slug & Lettuce’s Sharer Plates will remain a prominent menu fixture.
