Pret, Benugo and Moto Hospitality join the line-up of speakers at MCA’s annual Food to Go Conference on 7 March 2023.
The annual event will take place at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho and will feature a full programme of presentations and Q&As with headline speakers, insight sessions and panel discussions, as well as the chance for delegates to network with their peers in the sector.
Former chief executive of Greggs and now CEO at Moto Hospitality, Ken McMeikan will assess how the growth in electric cars and longer dwell times will impact the F&B at the UK’s largest service area operator and share how brands can engage to help meet the future needs of its diverse customer base.
And new for this year will be a panel focused on the importance of menu innovation, featuring Katherine Bagshawe, UK food and coffee director, Pret UK & Ireland; Danny de Ruiter, head of purchasing, Benugo; and Kateline Porritt, head of trends at F&B consultancy Egg Soldiers.
The session will uncover what’s inspiring the NPD of some of the biggest food to go operators, which trends are winning out, how the current cost pressures are impacting menu development and why regular menu refreshes are key to retaining loyal customers and engaging with new ones.
Other headline speakers already announced include Ganan Kanagathurai, UK CEO Itsu; Richard Morris, CEO, Tortilla; and Kevin Hydes, chief commercial officer, Tim Hortons.
Many more sessions and speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
