Costa Coffee new

Costa Coffee has unveiled its new store design at its site on London’s Tooley Street.

Reopened this week after a major refurbishment, the site now features touchscreen ordering systems, an upgraded modern seating area, multiple new charging points, and a refreshed counter space.

Counter service remains available alongside self-serve machines, while touchscreen ordering aims to add convenience and speed, particularly for customers on the go.

With increasing uptake of the Costa Club app, all machines also have the option for customers to scan their Costa card.

Other new features include updated wallpaper, wall colour, furniture, and lighting to create a “much lighter and brighter feel.”

The Tooley street site also offers a new range of pastries such as Cheese Twists and Pain au Chocolate, baked in-store every day.

The coffee chain plans to roll out the refurbishments to more stores in London and across the UK.

Luke Shaughnessy, regional operations director at Costa Coffee, said: “We’re thrilled to unveil the refreshed Costa Coffee store on Tooley Street, designed to be the perfect space for all.

“With a fresh bakery range, the latest technology for seamless ordering, and a bright, uplifted interior, our renovated London store is the ideal spot for customers to recharge and connect with friends, family or colleagues, or to quickly pick up their go-to Costa coffee whilst they’re on-the-go.”
